General:

Horace "Bo" Yates passed away March 30th after a long and difficult illness. He was 76. Horace was born in Malvern, Arkansas. The family moved to Oregon in 1950. He married Wilma Turk and they had six children, but later they divorced. He married Patricia Huddleston in 1991. He worked in the lumber industry for 40 years. He is survived by his wife Patricia; children, Bob, Greg, Brian, and Patsy; his step children, April, Kathi, Mike, and Reneé; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; ten step grandchildren; brother Ken; sisters Doris, and Cordelia. He was preceded in death by his children Donny and Coreen and parents Charles and Maxine Yates. His service will be at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield on Friday, April 4th at 1 pm. Viewing will be Thursday, April 3rd, 3-7 pm, and Friday, April 4th, 10 am to 12 pm.
