General:

Mr. Don White, 71, of Crossett, died Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mr. White was a native and resident of Crossett for many years and a former resident of Forrest City. He owned and operated his own construction company in Forrest City and he was a tomato farmer. He was a member of the Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Hicks White in 2011; his parents, Ashton & Edith Doss White and an infant twin sister, Linda K. White.
He is survived by three daughters, Denise Hudson; Kim Massey and husband, Garry, and Kristi McKenzie and husband, John, all of Bastrop, Louisiana; two step-daughters, Cindy Lewis of Lake Village and Debra Perdue and husband, Elvis, of Greers Ferry; a sister, Faith White Nowlin and husband, John; two brothers, Reginald White and Dale White and wife, Shelia, all of Crossett; 8 grandchildren, Tara Lappe, Brandon Massey, Bryan Massey, Blair Anderson, C.J. Morgan, Coultor Anderson, Alyssa McKenzie, Emma McKenzie; four step-grandchildren, April Fisher, Brandy Morgan, Chris Morgan and Johna Morgan and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Garry Massey and Brother Farrell Breshears officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroad Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brandon Massey, Bryan Massey, Coultor Anderson, John McKenzie, Phillip Nowlin and Logan Fisher.
