General:

Thomas Henry?? Watkins Thomas was one of the first pioneers in Ashley Co., AR, moving there in 18 44. Before this he had lived at Union Springs, AL. He eventually settl ed in Fountain Hill, AR

William, Thomas, Samuel, and Leemarcus served in the Confederacy during t he Civil War. They were a part of the 3rd Arkansas Regiment. They were w ith General Robert E Lee when he surrendered and they had to walk all t he way back home.
