Robert "Bob" Vern Treese, 78 of Florien, Louisiana died on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle, Louisiana.
He was born on Tuesday, March 1, 1932 in Pickering, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Treese of Florien, LA; 7 children, Sherri Jo Roberts of Picayune, MS; Margaret Nixon of Florien, LA; Debbie Perser of Florien, LA; Rita Lewing of Many, LA; Reba Lane of Many, LA; Robert Treese of Florien, LA and stepdaughter, Wanda Rhodes; 2 sisters, Madge Yarkovich of St. Joe, MO and Louise Miller of Savannah, MO; 23 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, LA with Bro. Ray Leidig officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery, Florien, LA.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, LA.
Pallbearers will be Jason Lewing, Joe Lewing, Chris Treese, Andrew Nixon, Billy Nixon, Taylor Barajas, Stewart Martin and Brady Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Norton, Jack Kleven, John Spears, Adam Lehr, Colby Lehr and Richard Rhodes.
