General:

Wendy Gay White Griswould, age 57, a lifelong resident of Crossett, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Wendy was born October 6, 1962 to her parents, Norma Jean Hester and Reginald Dean White. Wendy was a member of the Crossett High School Class of 1980. She worked as a carrier and clerk for the United States Postal Service in both Hamburg and Crossett for over 10 years. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church where she enjoyed volunteering for VBS. Wendy was a proud and God-fearing. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play, a good game of cards, and a hot cup of coffee. She held those she loved to high standards, but always with compassion. May she rest in peace.

Wendy is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Wanda. She is survived by her son, Mitchell White; her daughter, Karen Stephenson and husband Bryan of Bastrop, Louisiana; her four grandchildren, Rachel, Gage, Brianna, and Vivian; her husband, Dan Griswould of Crossett, Arkansas; and a brother, William "Gary" Gerhardt White of Galena, Missouri.

Family led services celebrating Wendy's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Corinth Baptist Church of Crossett, Arkansas with Bro. Glenn Hutchison and Bro. Garry Massey officiating. A time of visitation and fellowship will immediately follow the services at the church.
