General:

Annie Josephine Farrar, 89, of Crossett died Tuesday, February 15, 2005. Born June 7, 1915, in Crossett to Jesse and Amzie Elizabeth Smith Hill, Mrs. Farrar was a homemaker and worked as a nursing aide for 10 years at the Crossett Health Center. She was a member of South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Maysel Earl Farrar and wife Jo Ellen of Columbus, MS; two daughters, Colene Goodwin and husband Larry of Crossett and Jo Ann Broadaway and husband Jerry of Jonesboro; one sister, Mildred Dew of West Monroe, LA; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Maysel Farrar; one son, Neal Farrar; three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 18, at 1 p.m. at South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Don Justice officiating. Burial was at Rawls Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Pallbearers were Bill Dew, Dr. Robert Lawrence, Carlton Lawrence, grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
